We are proud to announce that Valley Care & Learning Center is continuing to partner with Little Free Library’s book sharing movement! Our newest library, #82904 celebrated it’s grand opening today at our Paradise Valley location! Scroll down to see highlights from this special day and learn more about how you can support our Little Free Library – Paradise Valley, in your community!

Grand Opening Celebration

Our program Director, Ms. Ashley and Preschool teacher, Ms. Amanda read some books to our preschool classes as they enjoyed a snack. We then discussed the library and it’s role in our community. Together we agreed that this library was for everyone and it was our responsibility to take care of it, the books inside and share it with our family and friends.

The class was then invited to join us in filling the library with brand new books! Each child had the opportunity to give a book a hug, welcome it to our school and place it inside the new library. The class loved the opportunity to be included and were all excited to pick out a book to take home at pick up in the afternoon.

What to expect from our Little Free Library –

  • Our library is stocked with a variety of new and used children’s books, available in English and Spanish. These titles include favorites appropriate for infant, toddler and preschool age children!

  • Your family is welcome to stop by the library at any time and take home any book that interests you,

  • When you’re finished with the book, return it and any books you’d like to donate!

  • Help our library grow by sharing it within the community and with your family and friends, tag your photos with #littlefreelibraryatvcclc!

Little Free Library Paradise Valley

Partnering with Little Free Library is just another way we’ve chosen to give back to our community. Valley Child Care & Leanring Center is proud to have served families in Phoenix, Arizona for over 50 years, an accomplishment that would not have been possible without our families and long term support of our community.

Studies show that children who are regularly exposed to quality literature during their preschool years enter Kindergarten prepared to excell. Our hope is that the library will continue to grow and inspire a love for literacy and learning among young readers for many years to come. Donations of children’s books will continue to be accepted at our program.
